"Hebban olla vogala nestas hagunnan hinase hic enda thu, wat unbidan we nu?"
English rough translation: “All birds have begun their nests except for you and me, what are we waiting for now?”
So this phrase was once thought to be the oldest example of Old Dutch that we had discovered, however that his since been disproven, and some people claim that it could just as well be Old English (specifically Old Kentish). I’m not sure why but I just find it really beautiful for some reason.
